Community for
Veteran Families
Community for Veteran Families was born from a simple belief - the men and women who signed that dotted line, and the families who stood beside them, should never be left behind. CVF is a woman-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving veterans, military families, caregivers, and Gold Star families across South Texas - providing emergency assistance, connecting families to resources, and honoring our fallen heroes through our Adopt a Grave program. We are fully volunteer-run and unwavering in our mission - Supporting Families. Strengthening Community. Honoring Service.
OUR STORY
Marching Together: About CVF
Community for Veteran Families was born from a deeply personal place. Our founder grew up in a military family whose service spans generations - and knows firsthand the sacrifice that military life demands, not just from the service member, but from every person who loves them. That lived experience is the foundation of everything CVF does.
What began as a personal mission to help veteran families in the San Antonio area has grown into a woman-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving veterans, military families, caregivers, and Gold Star families across South Texas. We are based in Seguin, Texas and serve families across Guadalupe, Comal, and Bexar counties - and wherever the need calls us.

Family Assistance
When a veteran family faces a crisis - an eviction notice, a utility shutoff, or an empty refrigerator - CVF is there. We provide direct emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, groceries, and basic household needs. We move fast, we show up personally, and we never turn away a family in need. Because the families who sacrificed for this country deserve a community that shows up for them.
Honoring the Fallen
Sponsoring remembrance wreaths at San Antonio National Cemetery and fulfilling grave specific remembrance requests at participating cemeteries nationwide - because no hero should ever be forgotten.
Community Fundraising
Every mission needs fuel - and ours runs on community. CVF raises funds through challenge coins, handmade ornaments, tumblers, t-shirts, and community events that bring people together around a shared purpose. Our annual Ride for Wreaths brings cars, trucks, motorcycles, and community members of all kinds together to raise awareness and funds for veteran families across South Texas. Every purchase, every event, and every donation goes directly to the families we serve - zero overhead, one hundred percent mission.
